Instruction Labels are typically installed by a manufacturer on a piece of equipment to instruct a user how on to perform a particular function. They can contain just text or a combination of text and graphics; whatever it takes to make the operation clear. A good example of this type of label is the serpentine belt routing label under the hood of many automobiles. It shows a clear diagram of the proper routing of the belt (which wouldn’t be clear at all without it!) for the mechanic to refer to during replacement.
